In the Decarbonization file recently published by the International Road Transport Association (IRU), the framework for what needs to be done in the fight against carbon dioxide emissions was outlined. The document, mentions on various subjects about what can be done in the short, medium and long term through 2050.
This document also outlines three fundamental elements;

• Let innovation flourish: smart incentives, not blunt modal shift
• Collective transport as key enabler for better transport
