Since expansion joint replacement will be made in the viaducts at the Abant-Kaynaşlı intersections of the Anatolian Highway, the direction of Istanbul was closed to vehicle traffic until 20 June.

After the heavy winter conditions, the highway crews will change the expansion joint in the viaducts at the Bolu Mountain crossing of the highway, at the Abant-Kaynaşlı junctions.

Due to the closure of approximately 23 kilometers of the highway, vehicles that will go to Istanbul will be transferred to the D-100 highway from the Abant junction. These vehicles will be allowed to join the highway again from the Kaynaşlı junction.
