The registration of vehicles for the new toll system in the Czechia has started. Hauliers are obliged to register in the new electronic toll system and to equip vehicles with the on-board unit no later than on the start date, i.e. 1 December 2019.

The principles of the toll system operation in the Czechia will remain unchanged. Charging is based on the type of vehicle and the distance driven on the toll road, where the use of a toll road by a motor vehicle with at least four wheels with the maximum permissible weight exceeding 3.5 tons shall be subject to toll payment.
