According to a new notification made by the Latvian State Border Guard, it has been explained that the online form available at https://covidpass.lv/en/ must be filled in by everyone who will enter the country, including truck drivers. However, it has been stated that PCR testing is mandatory only at the crossings of Latvia’s land borders with Russia and Belarus. People with positive PCR tests are placed in the hotel closest to the border for isolation, at their own expense. If the person does not accept this, he is not allowed to enter the country. Although the duration of the isolation is 10 days, the person is removed from the isolation on the 7th day, provided that the symptoms do not persist with the control of the doctor.
