On the A 12 highway, there will be updates about driving prohibitions of Euro-standard vehicles. After the changes of Tyrolean State Government, driving restraints will gradually increase.

The only area permitted to drive Euro-standard vehicles on the Tyrol A 12 highway is Langkampfen to Zirl region.

Until October 30 2019, Langkampfen to Zirl region can be used by Euro 4, 5, 6 standard vehicles.
From October 31 2019 – Langkampfen to Zirl region can be used by Euro 5, 6 standard vehicles.
After 1 January 2021 – Langkampfen to Zirl region can only be used by Euro 6 standard vehicles.
