Good news came for truck drivers trying to get embassy and consulate permits for visa procedures during the period of full closure. As a result of UND’s negotiations with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, “a certain number of personnel working in intermediary institutions were given exemption permission for visa applications of only truck drivers in order to continue the logistics activities, which are generally declared within the scope of it.”

Drivers will be exempted from the restrictions in visa applications to be made to the Istanbul and Ankara branches of the visa application centers.
