In the statement made by our Baku Trade Consultancy, the restrictions to be brought to Ro-Ro transports to Aktau and Kuryk ports in the Caspian Sea of Kazakhstan are being changed.

After negotiations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, passengers and freight vehicles (including Trucks) will be allowed to move from Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan via Ro-Ro’s. There will be no amendment regarding the prohibition of carrying passenger cars.

Iranian citizens and Iranian vehicles will not be allowed to carry over in the direction of Aktau and Kurık ports via Azerbaijani ships.

Following the new regulations on restrictions, the Caspian Maritime Administration reopened the sale of tickets to both passengers and companies carrying cargo.
