According to Iranian Customs Office’s announcement, Mehran, Çazabe and Salamçe border gates located in Iran-Iraq borderline will only be used for travels to Kerbela due to Imam Hussein’s Mourning Ceremony between the dates: 15 October – 10 November. 

Therefore, those who plan a visit to Iraq for any other purpose, will not be able to use the above-mentioned gates. Those who want to transit or travel to Iraq will be able to use Parvizhan, Hosravi, Başmag and Tamarçin border gates, instead.
