Transportation Restriction Between Georgia and Iran
New information about Iran was shared with Sarp Customs Directorate and Batumi Trade Attaché officials. According to the verbal statement, it is stated that vehicles with Iranian license plates and vehicles carrying Iranian products will be prevented from entering Georgia.
The explanation by the Georgian border customs authorities has not yet been fully formalized. But again we recommend that our colleagues consider this information in their transports.
