Permit Regulations in Germany
According to the information received from the IRU, it will be mandatory to install measuring devices on all vehicles that exceed the maximum weight limit, effective from the beginning of July. If the relevant equipment requirement is not specified in the exemption permit for the vehicle or if it is not technically possible to install this equipment according to expert opinion, it is not obligatory to install weight measuring devices on the vehicle axles.
