The article regarding the transit pass of cigarettes has been renewed
General Directorate of Customs Circular’s article regarding the transit pass of cigarettes has been renewed. According to the revised article, it has been decided that cigarette products that are to be transported abroad with transit pass will not be considered within the scope of 2012/2924 numbered cabinet decree. The transit pass of cigarettes will be allowed only if relevant record documenting that cigarettes are transported to duty-free sales outlets abroad and relevant labels on them are submitted. In case transit pass is conducted on airway, permission will be granted to cigarette products with bill and/or other documents submitted by the carrier and if it is documented that cigarettes are transported to duty-free sales outlets.
