The use of the ViaTOLL highway system used in Poland ended on October 1, 2021, making e-TOLL the only toll system used in Poland.

After this change, users had difficulties in the adaptation process, so upon the request of drivers, both members of the European Union and non-European Union, the IRU informed the Polish State and the European Commission in writing that they wanted to suspend the use of the e-TOLL system until all problems in the system are resolved.
